Lancashire-based Fresh Perspective was founded by sisters Emily and Laura with the aim to have a ‘fresh perspective’ on recruitment by guaranteeing to fill every vacancy they take on and charge clients for time rather than percentage placement fees. The business employs six people and operates across Lancashire and the North West, as well as nationally and internationally. Current clients span a range of sectors and include Anderton Centre, Guide Security and Heaton Group, all of which are actively recruiting in the current environment.

GC Business Finance (GCBF), which is currently one of only 40+ accredited lenders of emergency government funding across the UK, supported Consensus Workspace with a £100,000 CBILS-backed loan from NPIF – BFS & MSIF Microfinance, which is part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund. 

The Greater Manchester LEP, working with the Growth Company, has unlocked an initial £3m package of urgently needed financial support for Greater Manchester businesses battling the impact of coronavirus.

And private sector investors were today urged to further boost the funding support available to struggling businesses in the region, working alongside the public sector to protect jobs.

Lancashire-based Get Work, a service that generates local leads for tradespeople, has received a £100k loan from NPIF - BFS & MSIF Microfinance, a product managed by GC Business Finance & MSIF and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF).

VS Group Holdings (VSG), a telecommunications firm specialising in providing for the not-for-profit sector has secured a £100k investment for its expansion, through Lancashire County Developments Ltd’s Rosebud Fund – managed by GC Business Finance.

GC Business Finance has made two senior appointments to manage the £11.25m Rosebud fund created by Lancashire County Developments Ltd, with Matthew Robinson joining as Fund Manager and Jonathan Nelson taking the role of Senior Loan Account Manager.
