Caring coffee-shop counts the change following £25,000 loan

Coffee-shop Salutem is enjoying a successful opening following a £25,000 loan provided by GC Business Finance.

The venture aims to give more than just coffee to the local community, focusing on mental wellbeing and an awareness of the sensitivities surrounding learning difficulties and autism. The Northenden-based shop provides an inclusive environment, with low-lighting, quiet music, and communication aids designed to avoid sensory overload associated with autism.

Loan paves way for Crave at raves

Natural energy drink firm Crave Drinks has secured a £20,000 loan from GC Business Finance to fund the launch of its first product.

The firm’s Virgin Mojito is an energy drink/mocktail hybrid aimed at a new generation of nightlife enthusiasts. Following 12 months of development, the drink is an alcohol-free alternative due to release in 10 bars and nightclubs around Manchester.

Sales Bond opening Cheshire office following new wave of investment

Birmingham-based Sales Bond has its eyes on expansion into Cheshire after achieving 300 per cent growth and securing £70,000 worth of investment from shareholders, including £30,000 from NPIF – BFS & MSIF Microfinance, a product managed by GC Business Finance and MSIF and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF).
